Xuzhou New Health Hospital

Xuzhou New Health Hospital (Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital Xuzhou Branch) is a modern tertiary joint-stock comprehensive hospital built according to international JCI standards. It passed the Jiangsu Provincial Health Commission's Grade 3 Hospital evaluation in December 2021, with Phase I opening in April 2022. As a strategic cooperation hospital and Xuzhou branch of Jiangsu Provincial People's Hospital, it has public institution staffing and serves as a teaching hospital for Xuzhou Medical University and an excellent unit of Jiangsu Provincial Senior-Friendly Hospital. The hospital covers a total area of 108.8 mu with a total construction area of 254,300 square meters and a total investment of approximately 2.5 billion RMB. Phase I has 1,300 beds and Phase II has 1,200 beds, totaling 2,500 beds. Committed to building a modern international hospital, it has established 32 clinical departments, 7 medical technology departments, and 22 wards, introducing over 30 renowned discipline leaders from top domestic and foreign hospitals and setting up nearly 20 Chinese and foreign famous doctor workstations, including Professor Xu Jianping's workstation from Beijing Fuwai Hospital and Professor Gonzalez's workstation (founder of world single-port thoracoscopy). The hospital features a Heart Center (integrating cardiovascular medicine and cardiac surgery) and a Neuro Center (integrating neurology and neurosurgery) as specialty areas, establishing international cardiovascular/cerebrovascular/orthopedic platforms, equipped with advanced devices including Siemens PET/CT, Canon 640-slice dynamic volume spectral CT, Siemens 3.0T MRI, and Philips suspended DSA.
