Suzhou BenQ Hospital

Suzhou BenQ Hospital is a national tertiary general hospital approved by the National Health Commission and the Ministry of Commerce, established as a Sino-foreign joint venture hospital through cooperation between Taiwan's BenQ AUO Group and Suzhou High-tech Zone. Officially opened on May 12, 2013, the hospital passed JCI international certification in September 2020, joining the ranks of world-class high-quality hospitals. With 1,500 beds and a phase-one construction area of 160,000 square meters, it is located at 181 Zhuyuan Road, Suzhou High-tech Zone. The hospital introduces Taiwan's "holistic medical care" service model, implementing an outpatient follow-up system, attending physician responsibility system, primary nursing system, and pharmacist medication guidance system. With nearly 100 medical experts from Taiwan and mainland China, it is the preferred hospital for over 90% of Japanese and Taiwanese expatriates in Suzhou. The hospital operates key development centers including Heart Center (Suzhou BenQ Hospital·Heart Rhythm Center), Stroke Center, Trauma Emergency Center, Minimally Invasive Center, Tumor Center, and Maternal and Child Center, as well as specialized centers for hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases, metabolism and weight management (led by Professor Li Weijie), and child healthcare, with Professor Chen Guoding's cleft lip and palate and craniofacial treatment center from Taiwan offering distinctive advantages. As Suzhou Campus of Nanjing Medical University Affiliated BenQ Hospital and Soochow University BenQ Clinical Medicine Research Institute, it serves as a teaching and internship base for China Medical University, Kaohsiung Medical University, Chang Gung University and other famous Taiwan institutions, undertaking medical talent training. The hospital cooperates with nearly 40 domestic and foreign insurance companies for direct billing, operates Taiwanese clinics, VIP special medical services, and an International Medical Center, and provides air 120 emergency international medical transport services. In May 2021, the internet hospital was officially launched. It has been honored as a National Chest Pain Center, National Stroke Prevention and Treatment Center, National Baby-Friendly Hospital, 2021 Ailily "Single Hospital Top 300" & "Smart Hospital HIC Case Competition" award, and 2022 China Hospital Competitiveness "Ailily Top 100" Hospital, and has been selected as China's Best Medical Institution Employer for three consecutive years.
