About the Hospital
Guilin Hospital of the Second Xiangya Hospital CSU (Guilin Second People's Hospital) is the third batch of China's National Regional Medical Center projects and the first approved in Guangxi. As a National Cardiovascular Regional Medical Center, the hospital was founded in October 1916 by American Christian missionaries and has developed into a comprehensive tertiary Grade-A hospital integrating medical care, prevention, research, education, rehabilitation, and emergency services. The hospital operates under a "two-campus" model with a total of 1,700 planned beds. The Diecai Campus, located at No. 2 Diecai Road, Diecai District, Guilin, has 500 beds. The Lingui Campus, located at No. 8 Shatang Road, Lingui District, Guilin, has 1,200 beds and was built according to national cardiovascular regional medical center standards, becoming fully operational on March 28, 2024. Leveraging the high-quality medical resources of the Second Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, the hospital achieves comprehensive integration of technology, talent, management, and brand. With cardiovascular medicine as its core discipline, the hospital is building modern medical clusters including transplantation, critical care, advanced surgical techniques, oncology and hematology, comfort medicine, brain science, and geriatric medicine, aiming to become the most modern hospital in northern Guangxi.
