Zhangzhou Fifth Hospital

Zhangzhou Fifth Hospital (Zhangzhou Taiwan Business Investment Zone Hospital) is a secondary comprehensive public hospital under the Zhangzhou Taiwan Business Investment Zone. In April 2024, it established Zhangzhou City's first public hospital Taiwanese compatriot diagnosis and treatment zone and the city's first county-level public hospital Taiwanese health insurance service station, becoming an important part of Zhangzhou Taiwan Business Investment Zone's efforts to create a "comprehensive integration model zone" for Taiwan. The hospital innovatively implements a "medical insurance + notarization" service model, coordinating four departments—medical insurance, hospital, notarization, and postal services—to provide full-process services during admission, hospitalization, and discharge periods. Taiwanese compatriots can complete health insurance reimbursement and notarization matters at the service station in one stop, with the health insurance reimbursement notarization process pilot moved into the hospital, achieving "in-hospital direct processing," compressing overall processing time by about 5 working days while exempting verification fees in traditional processes. The Taiwanese diagnosis and treatment zone is located on the second floor, designed with Taiwanese and Zhangzhou local cultural elements, relying on professional medical teams to provide full-process guidance, exclusive appointment diagnosis and treatment, one-stop Taiwan health insurance reimbursement services, expert connections, and comprehensive personalized medical services for Taiwanese compatriots, effectively solving the problem of compatriots traveling between multiple locations and departments on both sides of the strait, saving time, effort, and money, making medical treatment in mainland China more reassuring and worry-free for Taiwanese compatriots.
