About the Hospital
Quanzhou Yihe Hospital, the first Taiwanese-invested hospital in Quanzhou, began construction in 2019, covering 369 mu with a phase-one building area of 240,000 square meters and 1,500 open beds. It is a private for-profit hospital integrating health management, clinical services, rehabilitation, education, and research, practicing value-based healthcare. The hospital focuses on preventive medicine, clinical medicine, and rehabilitation medicine as its core development areas, adhering to a patient-centered service philosophy. It gathers domestic and international academician teams and medical elites, introduces advanced international medical technology and equipment including Fujian Province's first Siemens Vida 3.0T MRI and Siemens fifth-generation dual-source CT, establishes four major medical sharing platforms: Precision Medicine Center, Medical Imaging Center, Laboratory and Pathology Diagnosis Center, and Remote Diagnosis Service Center, and forms eight clinical medical centers covering cardiovascular/cerebrovascular, maternal and child, urology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, oncology, traditional Chinese medicine, and general medicine. As the nation's first Overseas Chinese (Quanzhou) Health Tourism Center and a service point for the Taiwanese Medical Insurance Service Center, the hospital actively promotes cross-strait medical exchange and cooperation, building a high-quality medical system and creating a cross-strait medical integration development base, providing health insurance reimbursement services for Taiwanese compatriots, and has been approved as a Quanzhou medical insurance designated unit with a 90% reimbursement rate for urban employed workers' general outpatient services.
