Yuxi Zhongshan Hospital

Yuxi Zhongshan Hospital (Fuxianhu Campus of Yuxi People's Hospital) is a Grade-A tertiary comprehensive hospital co-established by the People's Government of Yunnan Province and Sun Yat-sen University. Construction began in March 2017, with trial operations starting on October 8, 2024, and official inauguration on November 26, 2024. Located at No. 1 Zhuyuan North Road, Chengjiang City, the hospital covers a construction area of 225,400 square meters with 1,200 planned beds, 24 clinical departments, and 9 medical technology departments. As a provincial-level regional medical center project, the hospital integrates management and technical resources from the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University to build an integrated emergency and critical care system. The hospital focuses on gastrointestinal surgery, gastroenterology, and tumor intervention, with a "4+2" key specialty cluster planned according to the "major specialties, general practice" concept.
