Kunming Yan'an Hospital (Yunnan Cardiovascular Hospital) is a comprehensive tertiary Grade-A hospital integrating medical care, teaching, and research. As the National Heart Transplant Center approved by the National Health Commission and one of the three National Intervention Training Base, it is also the cardiovascular disease diagnosis and treatment center of Yunnan Province. The hospital was formerly Shanghai Yan'an Hospital and relocated to Kunming in 1970 in response to the national call, having developed cardiovascular specialty for decades with the hospital spirit of "Benevolent Heart and Skill, Dedication and Excellence" and acclaimed as "the Highland of Cardiovascular Diagnosis and Treatment in Southwest China."
