Suifenhe People's Hospital

Suifenhe People's Hospital is a secondary Grade-A comprehensive hospital integrating medical care, prevention, healthcare, and rehabilitation in Suifenhe City, Heilongjiang Province. Founded in 1988, it was approved in 2019 as one of the first National TCM Service Export Bases in China, being the only hospital in Heilongjiang Province to receive this designation, bearing the national mission of exporting TCM services. The hospital has invested in upgrading a 1,200-square-meter modern international diagnosis and treatment center, establishing a European-style dedicated reception room for Russian patients and an overseas experience center, and opening specialized departments such as TCM Preventive Treatment Room and Health Examination Department. As a hotspot hospital for China-Russia cross-border medical tourism, the hospital received over 10,000 foreign patients in 2024, with a service radius covering most cities in Russia's Far East including Primorsky Krai, Khabarovsk, and Vladivostok, achieving a patient return rate exceeding 60%. The hospital provides trilingual guidance signage in Chinese, English, and Russian, hires Russian translators, and offers full-process Russian translation accompaniment. It launches personalized health examination packages designed according to Russian patients' age, occupation, and prevalent diseases. TCM acupuncture, massage, moxibustion, cupping, herbal fumigation, and genetic testing projects are widely popular among Russian patients. In 2025, the first cross-border medical service insurance policy in China landed in Suifenhe Free Trade Zone, underwritten by China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation, building a risk barrier for TCM services going global. The hospital has established an Orthodox prayer room, herbal diet restaurant, and Chinese medicine beverage bar, reflecting humanistic care and becoming an important window for China's medical services to Russia.
