About the Hospital
Heihe Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, founded in July 1985 at No. 230 Central East Street, Aihui District, Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province, is a Grade-II Class-A comprehensive TCM hospital integrating medical care, health preservation, teaching, research, and rehabilitation, currently pursuing Grade-III hospital status. Upholding the spirit of "Inheriting Essentials and Innovating with Integrity," the hospital is recognized as an important gateway for TCM services on the China-Russia border. With 200 beds, 15 clinical departments, 83 senior and mid-level professionals, and 4 provincial-renowned TCM practitioners, Orthopedics-Traumatology is the core municipal key specialty, alongside Acupuncture, Tuina, Rehabilitation, and Gastroenterology as municipal key specialties. In September 2025, leveraging the China-Russia visa-free policy, the hospital established an International Medical Department with a dedicated international diagnosis and physical examination area, designing specialized TCM therapies including acupuncture, tuina, and guasha along with customized health checkup packages tailored to Russian patients' constitution, with Russian interpreters ensuring seamless communication throughout the entire medical process. The hospital set up the Longjiang Medical School Inheritance Studio in 2016, formed a medical alliance with Sanya TCM Hospital in May 2025, continues upgrading port hospital service capabilities, and has earned honors including 5 municipal key specialties and "No Red Envelope Hospital" designation.
