The Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University

The Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University (Hebei Cancer Hospital), founded in 1955, is the only Grade-A tertiary cancer specialized hospital in Hebei Province integrating medical treatment, teaching, research, prevention, and rehabilitation. The hospital is world-renowned for esophageal cancer treatment with leading technology. In 2008, it was approved as an International Science and Technology Cooperation Base, conducting academic exchanges with 16 countries including Japan, the United States, and Germany. The hospital has sent 498 medical staff abroad for training, received 482 foreign scholars, and appointed 38 foreign experts as honorary professors.
