Beijing Jishuitan Hospital Guizhou Hospital is a National Regional Medical Center project, opened in June 2022, established by Beijing Jishuitan Hospital (National Orthopedic Medical Center) and operated on the foundation of the former Guizhou Orthopedic Hospital. The parent hospital, Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, has ranked first in orthopedics in the Fudan National Hospital Rankings for 13 consecutive years and is the top orthopedic institution in China, with one Chinese Academy of Engineering academician. The hospital operates two campuses — Baiyun Campus and Nanming Campus — with a total area of 100,000 square meters, building area of 205,300 square meters, 1,000 approved beds, 1,300 operational beds, and 1,327 employees. Beijing Jishuitan Hospital has deployed over 100 specialists to Guizhou, introduced 150 new technologies (51 filling gaps at national, Southwest regional, and provincial levels), and attracted tens of thousands of out-of-province patients. The hospital specializes in orthopedics with subspecialties including trauma orthopedics, spinal surgery, joint surgery, foot and ankle surgery, and sports medicine, performing Grade IV cervical spine surgeries.
