Wuzhou People's Hospital is a comprehensive tertiary Grade-A hospital integrating medical care, teaching, research, and preventive healthcare. Founded in 1924, it is the first public hospital in Guangxi, marking the origin of Guangxi's public health endeavors and acclaimed as "the cradle of Guangxi's health services." Located in Changzhou District, Wuzhou City, Guangxi, the hospital covers 102 mu with a building area of 160,000 square meters, 1,110 authorized beds, and 1,630 employees including 312 with senior professional titles, making it the largest comprehensive hospital in Wuzhou. Key specialties include Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Neurology, General Surgery, and Emergency Medicine. The Gastroenterology Department collaborates with Beijing Digestive Disease Hospital to establish the Wuzhou Integrative Medicine Center, serving as a network unit of the National Clinical Research Center for Digestive System Diseases. The hospital houses the Guangxi Liver and Gallbladder Disease Diagnosis and Treatment Center, Wuzhou Critical Pregnant Women Treatment Center, and Wuzhou Critical Newborn Treatment Center. Equipped with a helicopter apron for air medical rescue, the hospital has passed National Chest Pain Center certification and is a member of the China Stroke Center Alliance.
