About the Hospital
Liuzhou Worker's Hospital is a comprehensive tertiary Grade-A hospital integrating medical care, teaching, and research in Liuzhou City. Founded in 1933, it is among the first Grade-A hospitals in Guangxi and serves as the Fourth Affiliated Hospital and Fourth Clinical Medical College of Guangxi Medical University. As a designated member of the Ministry of Health International Emergency Rescue Center Network, the hospital is Guangxi's first International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training base, with emergency training aligned with international standards. It is also the only helicopter rescue base hospital in central and northern Guangxi, equipped with professional aerial rescue capabilities. Operating a multi-campus model with over 1,100 beds, 3,220 staff members, 79 doctoral graduates, and 533 master's graduates, the hospital features Guangxi provincial-level key specialties in Emergency Medicine, Nephrology, and Neurosurgery, with strong capabilities in Orthopedics, Medical Laboratory Science, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Gynecology. The Medical Laboratory and Blood Bank were the first in Guangxi to achieve ISO15189 certification, meeting international quality standards. The hospital is equipped with a PET-CT scanner (the third in Guangxi and the only one in central and northern Guangxi), providing leading precision in tumor diagnosis. Liuzhou Worker's Hospital offers international insurance direct billing services, and its internet hospital platform has over 210,000 followers. As a postdoctoral innovation practice base, it contributes significantly to healthcare development in central and northern Guangxi.
