Laibin People's Hospital

Laibin People's Hospital was founded in April 1951 and is the only national tertiary Grade-A comprehensive hospital in Laibin City, integrating medical care, teaching, research, prevention, and healthcare. Located at No. 159 East Pangu Avenue, Laibin City, Guangxi, the hospital covers an area of approximately 200 mu (13.3 hectares), with a building area of 146,600 square meters and nearly 1,500 open beds. It was upgraded to tertiary Grade-A status in November 2020, became the Laibin Clinical Medical College of Guilin Medical University in September 2021, and passed the Grade-A Teaching Hospital assessment in November 2021. Upholding the mission of "Respecting life, promoting health, serving the people with boundless love," the hospital drives high-quality development through "talent, disciplines, culture, and management." The hospital has 38 clinical departments, 8 medical technology departments, and over 2,200 employees, including nearly 400 senior specialists and nearly 200 doctoral and master's degree holders. It holds 2 autonomous region-level clinical key specialties (Medical Imaging and Medical Laboratory, with the latter passing ISO15189 international certification) and 11 municipal key specialties. The hospital is equipped with 165 pieces of advanced equipment worth over 500,000 yuan each, including VitalBeam linear accelerator, 3.0T MRI, ECMO, and 4K ultra-high-definition laparoscopy, and is the first hospital in the autonomous region with full coverage of intelligent rail logistics system. As a National Baby-Friendly Hospital, National Chest Pain Center, National Cerebral Hemorrhage Surgical Treatment Base, and National Drug Clinical Trial Institution, the hospital has established "five major treatment centers" and "five major diagnostic centers," radiating to Jinxiu Branch and 12 township health centers in Xingbin District. It cooperates with renowned hospitals including Beijing Fuwai Hospital and Beijing Jishuitan Hospital to establish expert doctoral studios. The hospital has received over 160 honors including National "Energy-saving Public Institution Demonstration Unit" and Autonomous Region Clean Hospital Construction Demonstration Unit.
