Hechi People's Hospital

Hechi People's Hospital was founded in 1963 and is the largest and most comprehensive medical service center in Northwest Guangxi, a national tertiary Grade-A comprehensive hospital. The hospital has formed a "one hospital, two locations" development pattern, with the headquarters campus located at No. 455 Jincheng Middle Road and Zhongshan Campus located at No. 561 Zhongshan Road, covering an area of 147.06 mu with a total construction area of 275,800 square meters, 1,439 approved beds, and 1,450 open beds. As of March 2026, the hospital has 2,216 employees, including 89 with senior professional titles and 343 with associate senior professional titles. The hospital is a national standardized training base for resident physicians, an autonomous region-level regional medical center construction unit, Hechi Hospital of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University, and Hechi Hospital of Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities. In 2018, it passed the certification of "China Chest Pain Center" and "National Advanced Stroke Center," and in 2024, it was designated as a "National Drug Clinical Trial Institution." Gastroenterology is a Guangxi clinical key specialty construction project, respiratory and critical care medicine and general surgery are Guangxi clinical key cultivation specialties. Orthopedics and obstetrics are autonomous region medical and health key disciplines, and orthopedics, cardiovascular medicine, and reproductive medicine are Hechi talent highlands. The hospital is equipped with high-end equipment including Elekta linear accelerator, Siemens 3.0T MRI, ECMO, and orthopedic surgical robot system. The hospital has formed a "party building medical consortium" with 51 hospitals and established two city-wide specialized emergency treatment networks for chest pain and stroke. As the Hechi Branch of Guangxi Remote Medical Center and the Northwest Guangxi Emergency Medical Rescue Center, the hospital undertakes emergency rescue responsibilities for regional public health incidents, serving Hechi and radiating to Northwest Guangxi.
