About the Hospital
Guangxi International Zhuang Medicine Hospital is a major public welfare project commemorating the 60th anniversary of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the first "Foreign Expert Friendly Hospital" in Guangxi. Completed in 2018, it is a tertiary Grade-A ethnic medicine hospital built by the regional government to preserve and develop Zhuang-Yao medicine and serve China-ASEAN cooperation. Located in Wuxiang New District of Nanning, the hospital covers an area of 300.10 mu with a construction area of 187,500 square meters, featuring 1,000 beds in phase one and employing 1,733 staff members. It houses the National Regional TCM Diagnosis and Treatment Center (Zhuang Medicine), with the National Clinical Key Specialty of Rheumatology and National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine Key Specialties in Zhuang Medicine Meridian Massage and Oncology. The hospital preserves and develops 73 Zhuang-Yao external treatment techniques, with 12 "signature techniques" widely applied. Offering multilingual services in English, Japanese, and Thai, the hospital has conducted 4 international free clinics and treated nearly 260 foreign patients. It established cooperation with Cambodia's Hong En Hospital, with experts providing regular TCM consultations. The hospital upholds the mission of "Preserving Zhuang Medicine, Serving ASEAN" and aims to build a platform for China-ASEAN traditional medicine exchange and cooperation.
