Chongqing Ninth People's Hospital

Chongqing Ninth People's Hospital, founded in 1927 by the renowned patriotic industrialist Mr. Lu Zuofu, is a national Grade-A tertiary general hospital located in Beibei District, known as the "Back Garden of Chongqing." The hospital covers an area of 71,000 square meters with a building area of over 100,000 square meters, has 1,050 open beds, and employs over 1,700 staff. It is the largest medical center in northern Chongqing, affiliated with Chongqing Medical University as Beibei Hospital, and serves as a teaching hospital for the Third Military Medical University. The hospital boasts 4 provincial-level centers and 25 provincial-level key specialties. Its children's autism rehabilitation treatment ranks first in western China, general practice ranks first in Chongqing, and hospital cost management research leads the nation. As one of the first foreign medical service points in Chongqing, it provides quality medical services to international patients. With 800,000 annual outpatient visits, it serves a population of 5 million in northern Chongqing.
