Chongqing University Cancer Hospital

Chongqing University Cancer Hospital, founded in 1943, is a national Grade-A tertiary specialized cancer hospital integrating medical care, teaching, research, prevention, and rehabilitation. Located in Shapingba District, Chongqing, the hospital has 1,480 authorized beds across 43 clinical and medical technology departments. It is a member of the International Union Against Cancer (UICC), a co-construction unit of the National Cancer Regional Medical Center, and a construction unit of the National Regional Traditional Chinese Medicine (Oncology) Diagnosis and Treatment Center. The hospital boasts 3 national key specialties, 4 provincial key disciplines, and 12 provincial clinical key specialties. The Radiation Therapy Center is a national clinical key specialty, treating over 16,500 patients annually. The hospital has established a cancer prevention network covering 105 member units, with 27% of patients coming from outside the region, serving 31 provinces nationwide. As one of the first foreign medical service points in Chongqing, it provides quality medical services to international patients.
