Nanchuan District People's Hospital

Nanchuan District People's Hospital, founded in 1926, is the only Grade A tertiary general hospital in Nanchuan District. On March 28, 2024, it was officially designated as the Affiliated Nanchuan Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. The hospital covers an area of approximately 67 mu with a building area of approximately 140,000 square meters, comprising three campuses: the main hospital, women and children's center, and mental health center. With 1,300 open beds and around 1,500 staff members, the hospital possesses 7 Chongqing regional medical key disciplines including Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Urology, Neurology, and Orthopedics, along with 9 municipal clinical key specialties. The hospital has established five major diagnosis and treatment centers including a national standard Chest Pain Center, Atrial Fibrillation Center, and Stroke Center. As one of the first foreign-related medical service points in Chongqing, the hospital serves approximately 2 million people across southern Chongqing and northern Guizhou regions.
