Dazu District People's Hospital, established in July 1941, is located in Dazu District, Chongqing, famous for its stone carving heritage. It is a national Grade A tertiary general hospital and a directly affiliated hospital of Chongqing Medical University. The hospital covers an area of 285 mu with a building area of 200,000 square meters, has 1,200 authorized beds, and employs 1,639 staff members. The hospital possesses 5 municipal regional medical key disciplines, 13 municipal clinical key specialties, 2 municipal public health key specialties, and 4 municipal medical characteristic specialties. It has established national-level Chest Pain Center, Atrial Fibrillation Center, and Stroke Center. Equipped with the first Da Vinci surgical robot in western Chongqing, 3.0T MRI, 256-slice CT, and other advanced equipment, the hospital performs Da Vinci robot minimally invasive surgery, minimally invasive bariatric surgery, and various laparoscopic surgeries. As one of the first foreign-related medical service points in Chongqing, the hospital completed 1,005,200 outpatient visits in 2025, serving as an important regional medical center in western Chongqing.
