Tianjin TEDA International Cardiovascular Hospital

Tianjin TEDA International Cardiovascular Hospital is a Grade A tertiary cardiovascular specialty hospital that passed JCI international hospital standard accreditation in 2011, becoming one of the earliest public specialty hospitals to obtain JCI certification. Two clinical programs—acute myocardial infarction and heart failure—passed JCI Clinical Care Program Certification (CCPC), making it the first cardiovascular hospital in mainland China to receive international certification in this field. In 2026, it received National Excellence Chest Pain Center certification, the only hospital in Tianjin and among the first batch nationwide to achieve this honor. The hospital features key departments including Cardiology, Cardiac and Vascular Surgery, Pediatric Cardiology, Artificial Heart, and Chest Pain Center, with advanced capabilities in coronary artery disease interventional treatment, arrhythmia diagnosis and treatment, coronary artery bypass surgery, heart valve surgery, congenital heart disease diagnosis and treatment, and artificial heart implantation. The hospital collaborates with the US Asia Pacific Medical Group to operate TEDA Puhua Hospital, has established a management system with the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College, and maintains deep cooperation with the National Cardiovascular Disease Center and Fuwai Hospital.
