Tianjin Children's Hospital

Tianjin Children's Hospital (Tianjin University Children's Hospital) is the largest Grade A tertiary comprehensive pediatric hospital in Tianjin and a designated construction unit for the National Pediatric Regional Medical Center co-constructed by the commission and province. The hospital operates three campuses—Longyan, Machang, and Zhanwang—with a total of 1,721 beds, featuring 13 pediatric internal medicine subspecialties and 12 pediatric surgical subspecialties. Key strengths include the Pediatric Cardiovascular Center, Pediatric Cranial Nerve Center, Pediatric Rehabilitation, Neonatal Diagnosis and Treatment, Pediatric Minimally Invasive Surgery, Pediatric Cardiac Surgery, and Pediatric ENT (cochlear implantation), with extensive clinical experience in diagnosing and treating both common and complex pediatric conditions. As an affiliate of Tianjin University, the hospital undertakes significant teaching and research responsibilities, serving as an important base for pediatric talent cultivation in Tianjin. The International Medical Center, opened in 2025 with nearly 200 square meters of child-friendly "ocean adventure" themed space, provides multidisciplinary team (MDT) diagnosis and one-stop green channel services for foreign, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and commercially insured patients aged 0 to 18, partnering with 15 to 22 insurance companies for online direct billing.
