Dazhou Central Hospital

Dazhou Central Hospital, founded in 1921, is one of the earliest Western medicine hospitals in Eastern Sichuan. It is now a tertiary Grade A comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, and preventive healthcare, shouldering the national mission of healthcare services for over 10 million people in the Eastern Sichuan region. Upholding the hospital motto of "Virtue, Excellence, Precision, and Strength" and carrying forward a century of medical heritage, the hospital passed the national tertiary Grade A hospital accreditation in 1994 and was approved as the Eastern Sichuan Regional Medical Center. The hospital has 1,500 authorized beds with 2,131 employees, including 1,829 technical personnel, operating two major campuses: the Inpatient Department (Nanyue Campus) and the Outpatient Department (Dadong Street Campus), with complete clinical and medical technology departments. The hospital serves as a Regional Cooperative Center Hospital of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Non-directly Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College, Teaching Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, Teaching Hospital of PLA Army Medical University, and possesses ECMO extracorporeal life support technology, serving as the leading unit of the "Wanda-Ba-Kai" Regional ECMO Committee.
