Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, founded in 1907 (formerly Guangci Hospital), is a tertiary A-level comprehensive hospital designated by the National Health Commission and affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, integrating medical care, teaching, and research into a large-scale institution. The hospital is an early provider of special medical services in China, with the Special Medical Care Center established in 1998, outpatient located on B1 floor of Building 10, inpatient on floors 11-12 of Building 9 and floors 19-20 of Building 10, performing advanced procedures such as da Vinci robotic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and cardiovascular intervention.
