Inner Mongolia International Mongolian Medical Hospital, established in 2012, is the largest tertiary Grade-A Mongolian medical general hospital in the world, located at No. 83 University East Road, Saihan District, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The hospital has over 1,000 authorized beds, with Mongolian medical personnel accounting for more than 80% of clinical staff. It boasts 2 National Medical Masters, 3 National Famous Doctors of Mongolian Medicine, 1 Qihuang Scholar, and 24 famous Mongolian doctors at the autonomous region level. In 2022, the hospital was approved as a second-batch National Traditional Chinese Medicine Service Export Base, becoming an important platform for the internationalization of Mongolian medicine. The hospital houses National Clinical Key Specialties including Mongolian Medical Five-Therapy Sabsu Disease Department and Mongolian Medical Hematology Department. Mongolian medical Zanbal-Dorji warm needle therapy, fire needle therapy, and Mongolian bone-setting therapy are listed as National Intangible Cultural Heritage. The National Mongolian Medicine Preparation Center designs and produces over 240 varieties of Mongolian medicine preparations. The hospital has organized 19 missions of Mongolian medical experts to provide free consultations in Mongolia, benefiting over 50,000 patients. The hospital has received 32,000 foreign patient visits and has reduced medical expenses by over 2 million yuan for hospitalized Mongolian patients. It has signed cooperation agreements with more than 20 medical institutions in Mongolia, including the Mongolian Ministry of Health, Mongolian Medical University of Science and Technology, and Mongolia First Hospital.
