About the Hospital
Zhengzhou Central Hospital, founded in 1954, is a Grade-A tertiary comprehensive hospital affiliated with Zhengzhou University since 2011. With over 3,000 beds and 70+ clinical departments, the hospital operates six national-level diagnosis and treatment centers (Chest Pain, Stroke, Heart Failure, Hypertension, Atrial Fibrillation, Cardiac Rehabilitation) and eight provincial key specialties. In April 2017, it launched China's first commercial insurance direct billing platform at a Grade-A tertiary hospital, pioneering the "discharge and immediate claim" model with partnerships including New China Insurance, Union Life, and Ping An Life. The hospital serves as a National Trauma Regional Medical Center (approved 2023), established Zhengzhou's first Internet Hospital in 2021, and has received honors including Henan Province Anti-epidemic Advanced Collective and Zhengzhou Mayor's Quality Award.
