HuaiHe Hospital of Henan University was established on March 5, 1955, and is a comprehensive national tertiary Grade A hospital integrating medical care, teaching, research, prevention, healthcare, and rehabilitation. The hospital operates with a two-campus model: the South Campus located at No.8 Baogong Lake North Road, Gulou District, Kaifeng City, Henan Province, and the North Campus located at No.115 Ximen Street, Kaifeng City. The hospital covers a total area of 106 mu with a building area of 110,000 square meters, has 69 clinical and medical technology departments, 2,500 open beds, and over 2,500 staff members. The hospital has 8 provincial clinical key specialties including cardiovascular medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, urological surgery, nephrology, general surgery, gastroenterology, thoracic surgery, and oncology, as well as 4 provincial characteristic specialties including thoracic surgery, general surgery, gastroenterology, and urological surgery, with a total of 20 provincial medical key (cultivated) disciplines. The hospital is equipped with advanced medical equipment including GE multi-slice CT, Siemens 3.0T MRI, and angiography machines. It serves as an affiliated hospital of Henan University and a teaching hospital of the School of Medicine.
