About the Hospital
Fuwai Central China Cardiovascular Hospital is a National Regional Medical Center project jointly built by the National Cardiovascular Center, Fuwai Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and the People's Government of Henan Province, undertaking national functions of cardiovascular disease diagnosis, treatment, research, and prevention in Central China. As the Central China Branch of the National Cardiovascular Center, the hospital actively engages in international cooperation. In 2017, it signed cooperation agreements with Kameda General Hospital in Japan and Marien Hospital of Hannover Medical School in Germany, marking a new milestone in its internationalization process. Cardiovascular Medicine, Cardiovascular Surgery, and Cardiac Rehabilitation are core specialty areas with advanced international-standard diagnostic and treatment capabilities. In international medical services, the China-Japan cardiac rehabilitation cooperation introduces advanced Japanese rehabilitation concepts and techniques, while the China-Germany cardiovascular cooperation sends physicians to Germany for training, providing foreign patients with internationally aligned cardiovascular medical services. The hospital actively trains cardiovascular professionals, regularly sending key staff to Japan and Germany for advanced study.
