Dongguan People's Hospital / The Tenth Affiliated Hospital of Southern Medical University

Founded in 1888 as "Chinese Christian Rhenish Puji Hospital," Dongguan People's Hospital (The Tenth Affiliated Hospital of Southern Medical University) is one of the earliest Western hospitals established in China. Its historic red-walled, green-tiled Western architecture earned it the affectionate local nickname "Red Building Hospital."
