About the Hospital
Beijing United Family Hospital, established in 1997, is China's first foreign-operated private international general hospital and the flagship facility of United Family Healthcare (UFH). As the first hospital in China to achieve JCI accreditation in 2005, it has successfully passed six consecutive re-accreditations, making it one of the few medical institutions in China holding triple international accreditation: JCI, College of American Pathologists (CAP), and HIMSS EMRAM Stage 6. The hospital follows a patient-centered philosophy, providing international-standard healthcare services to expatriates and Chinese families. Located at 2 Jiangtai Road in Beijing's Lido area, the main campus employs over 200 full-time physicians from more than 20 countries and regions, offering services in over 20 languages including English, Japanese, and Korean. The hospital features comprehensive departments including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Neurosurgery, Oncology Center, and Cardiology Center, equipped with advanced technology such as da Vinci robotic surgery systems and MRI. It provides 24-hour adult and pediatric emergency services. The obstetrics department adopts the LDRP (Labor-Delivery-Recovery-Postpartum) model, supporting painless delivery and VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) techniques, with cesarean section rates and breastfeeding rates exceeding international standards. The hospital maintains direct billing partnerships with over 100 international insurance companies including BUPA, Cigna, and Allianz, providing convenient insurance settlement for international patients. As the core of UFH's Beijing network, the hospital collaborates with multiple clinics, rehabilitation hospital, and oncology center to form a complete healthcare system.
