About the Hospital
Founded in 2014 through a partnership between Tsinghua University and Taiwan's Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Beijing Tsinghua Changgung Hospital is a key international medical demonstration project of Beijing Municipality. Incorporating the advanced management model of Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, it practices the philosophy of "Humanity Benevolence, Excellence Innovation," with standout strengths in hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery and neurosurgery — bringing extensive experience in complex hepatobiliary procedures, minimally invasive surgery, and liver transplantation. The hospital has 1,000 beds, over 30 clinical departments, and more than 2,000 employees. In August 2023, the International Medical Center officially began operations, featuring 13 mid-to-high-end single rooms and offering premium services including specialist consultations, inpatient care, one-stop counter service, full-process nurse guidance, commercial insurance direct billing, and multilingual accompaniment services. As a teaching hospital of Tsinghua University School of Medicine, it steadily advances doctoral and master's education, handles over 800,000 outpatient visits annually, and has been recognized as a Beijing International Medical Key Project.
