About the Hospital
Stomatological Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University, founded in 1950, is the only Grade-A tertiary stomatological hospital directly under the National Health Commission in Northwest China, integrating medical care, teaching, research, and preventive healthcare. The hospital operates a main campus and six outpatient branches, equipped with 210 dental treatment units and 76 hospital beds. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is a Shaanxi Provincial Key Specialty, and the Complex Dental and Jaw-Facial Deformity Diagnosis and Treatment Specialty is a National Clinical Key Specialty. The hospital has established five clinical centers: Oral Preventive Healthcare Center, Tooth Preservation and Function Reconstruction Center, Dental Arch Restoration and Maintenance Center, Cranio-Maxillofacial Plastic Surgery Center, and Digital Technology Development Center. The hospital maintains substantial partnerships with eight international institutions including University of Maryland (USA), University of Alberta (Canada), University of Otago (New Zealand), King's College London (UK), Nihon University School of Dentistry at Matsudo (Japan), and KU Leuven (Belgium), and has academic exchange relationships with institutions in USA, Germany, Japan, Norway, Canada, Thailand, as well as Hong Kong and Taiwan regions. VIP dental clinic and special needs dental services are available, with nearly 37,000 households enrolled in the oral family doctor program. International patients can access VIP and special dental services tailored to their needs.
