Xining Stomatological Hospital

Xining Stomatological Hospital, founded in 1958, is the only public dental specialty hospital in Qinghai Province integrating medical care, prevention, healthcare, and teaching internship. Formerly known as Xining Dental Outpatient Department, it was converted to a public institution in 1992 and renamed Xining Stomatological Hospital in 1993. The hospital is a designated medical insurance hospital for the province, city, Haidong, and Hainan, and serves as a provincial-level cadre oral health base. It is a continuing education base for the Chinese Stomatological Association's "Western Journey" program and vice president unit of Qinghai Stomatological Association. The hospital has established fixed-point assistance partnerships with renowned domestic dental hospitals including West China Hospital of Stomatology, Sichuan University; Beijing Stomatological Hospital, Capital Medical University; Stomatological Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University; and Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Nanjing Medical University. It also serves as an affiliated hospital of Qinghai Health Vocational and Technical College and a teaching internship hospital for the School of Stomatology, Northwest Minzu University. Located at No. 20 Jingyi Road, Chengbei Biological Park, Xining, the hospital has specialty departments including endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontal treatment, and dental implants, operating a main hospital and four outpatient clinics at Dashingzi, Shengli Road, Dongtai, and Beidajie. Dental treatment, due to its relatively high international standardization, is suitable for international patient visits.
