Wuhan Children's Hospital is a comprehensive tertiary Grade-A specialized children's hospital integrating medical care, teaching, research, and preventive healthcare. Founded in 1954 as Wuhan Children's Hospital, it added the Wuhan Maternal and Child Health Hospital designation in 2006, and is the only tertiary Grade-A specialized children's hospital in Hubei Province. Serving children and families of foreign embassy personnel in Wuhan, children of foreign visitors and workers, and domestic high-end clients, IMS operates on an appointment-based system with scheduled visits, offering one-stop full-assistance personalized services, English language support, and international commercial insurance direct billing, covering comprehensive healthcare needs throughout patients' life cycles.
