Gansu Provincial Maternity and Child Health Hospital (Gansu Provincial Central Hospital)

Gansu Provincial Central Hospital is a comprehensive tertiary Grade-A hospital integrating medical care, healthcare, research, and teaching, managed in an integrated manner with Gansu Provincial Maternity and Child Health Hospital and Gansu Children's Hospital. Established in 2014, it filled the gap of provincial-level women and children's specialized hospitals in Gansu Province. On August 1, 2023, the International Medical Department outpatient clinic officially began operations, becoming the first public hospital in Gansu Province to open an international medical department outpatient clinic. Located on the north side of the first floor of the inpatient department, the International Medical Department covers an area of approximately 1,300 square meters and adopts a one-stop "general practice + specialty + multi-disciplinary consultation" medical service model. The appointment-based system schedules one appointment every half hour, with a "one doctor, one patient, one consultation room" model to reduce waiting time and ensure service quality. The consultation areas are clearly zoned with independent areas for obstetrics and gynecology, adult, children, and functional examination departments. Patients can complete payment, blood draw, ultrasound, fetal heart monitoring, ECG and other examinations within the area, with nursing staff responsible for tracking results and providing timely feedback. A dedicated passageway for the International Medical Department is set at the hospital entrance. Key specialties include obstetrics and gynecology, reproductive medicine center, neonatology, pediatrics, prenatal diagnosis center, high-risk obstetrics, child early development center, rehabilitation medicine, and general surgery. The hospital serves as Gansu Provincial Prenatal Diagnosis Center, Gansu Provincial Newborn Disease Screening Center, and Gansu Provincial Critical Newborn Treatment Center, providing comprehensive medical and healthcare services for women and children.
