Hefei First People's Hospital

Hefei First People's Hospital is a comprehensive tertiary Grade-A hospital integrating medical care, teaching, research, prevention, healthcare, and rehabilitation. Founded in 1954, it serves as the Third Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University. Upholding the patient-centered philosophy, the hospital is committed to building a modern hospital that satisfies the public. With three campuses (Main Campus, Binhu Campus, and Xinqiao International Hospital), over 2,000 beds, and more than 30 clinical departments, the hospital has established distinct specialties. In May 2023, the hospital signed an insurance direct billing agreement with MSH CHINA, becoming the first public hospital in Anhui Province to partner with MSH. Xinqiao International Hospital has established direct billing with eight high-end health insurance providers and offers express channels for foreign patients. As a national standardized residency training base, the hospital provides clinical education for Anhui Medical University, with approximately 1.5 million annual outpatient visits and 60,000 annual discharges.
