About the Hospital
Xizang Fukang Hospital is located in Lhasa on the snow-covered plateau and is the first non-public medical institution approved by the Xizang Autonomous Region Government. Established on April 28, 2005, the hospital has grown from an initial 70 beds to 520 approved beds across four campuses with 1,697 employees, becoming a large tertiary comprehensive hospital. In 2019, it was integrated into a national-level private tertiary comprehensive hospital, and in April 2021, it officially became the affiliated hospital of Xizang University. The hospital adheres to the mission of "serving human health with our knowledge and conscience." It has over 30 clinical and medical technology departments, with the Reproductive Medicine Center being the only human assisted reproductive center in Xizang Autonomous Region. Key specialties include gynecology, obstetrics, cardiology, pediatrics, and neonatology. The International Department officially opened in December 2025, providing personalized medical services, family doctor services, chronic disease management, and international academic exchanges. The hospital has received numerous honors including "Five-Star Medical Institution for Medical Quality Service Capacity" from the Chinese Non-Public Medical Institutions Association, Xizang Quality Award, and National May 1st Labor Medal. Annual outpatient visits exceed 550,000, with cumulative charitable donations exceeding 20 million yuan.
