About the Hospital
Dalian Friendship Hospital is a comprehensive tertiary Grade-A hospital integrating medical care, teaching, and research, established in 1947. It is the first foreign-related hospital directly under Dalian municipal government and the only Red Cross Hospital in Dalian. Located at No. 8 Sanba Square, Zhongshan District, Dalian, Liaoning Province, the hospital has an International Medical Department (Clinic F1, Inpatient 8th Floor, Emergency M Level) with a 24-hour service hotline. As a foreign-related designated hospital approved in 1982, the hospital has over 40 years of experience serving international patients. Fifteen departments including Geriatrics, Urology, Hepatobiliary Surgery, Neurology, Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and Ultrasound Diagnosis have been designated as provincial or municipal key specialties. The hospital is the only approved institution for kidney transplantation in the Dalian region, pioneering kidney, liver, and combined liver-kidney transplantation since 1997. The Dalian Geriatric Medicine Center is located at the hospital, serving as a National Geriatric Medicine Talent Training Base for Liaoning Province. The hospital advances three major centers—International Medical Center, Health Management Center, and Geriatric Medicine Center—forming a coordinated development pattern of foreign-related medical services and geriatric medicine, with the International Medical Department's 24-hour hotline providing convenient service channels for international patients.
