Yingyi International Medical Center is the first wholly Taiwan-invested tertiary general hospital in the Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone, developed by Yingyi Bio-Technology Group with a total investment of approximately 1 billion RMB, marking a landmark cross-strait healthcare collaboration under the Hainan Free Trade Port framework. The center launched trial operations on June 17, 2021, and officially commenced full operations on December 22, 2021, spanning a land area of 80 mu (approximately 53,333 square meters) with a gross floor area of 63,000 square meters and 300 planned beds including 34 high-end VIP suites. The hospital features specialized cross-disciplinary centers including Sports Medicine Center, Brain Health Center, Tumor Prevention & Treatment Center, and Male & Female Anti-Aging Center, alongside clinical departments such as Orthopedics, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Cardiovascular Medicine, Hematology, Medical Aesthetics, and Pediatrics. Its core expertise lies in regenerative medicine, housing a 1,200-square-meter cGMP-level cell preparation center, a comprehensive cell cryopreservation bank utilizing vapor-phase liquid nitrogen deep-temperature storage systems, and cell banking facilities compliant with ISO 9001 and cGMP international quality management standards through technology transfer partnerships with Caladrius Biosciences (USA). Leveraging Boao Lecheng's licensed medical policies, the center provides international patients with legal access to cutting-edge foreign drugs, advanced medical devices, and innovative therapies (such as PRP joint repair and cell immunotherapies) approved overseas but not yet registered in mainland China. As an official health and rehabilitation partner for the NBA Training Center in Haikou, the hospital delivers specialized athletic recovery services. The architectural design by Vermilion Zhou Design Group has received multiple accolades for successfully integrating complex clinical laboratories with therapeutic spatial environments, positioning the center as a low-density, premium-tier destination for comprehensive preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, rehabilitative, and long-term wellness services.
