Sanya People's Hospital International Clinic (West China Sanya Hospital)

Sanya People's Hospital International Clinic is the oldest medical institution in Sanya, Hainan Province, founded in 1948 as a tertiary Grade-A comprehensive hospital. Since 2021, it has been managed by West China Hospital of Sichuan University and named "West China Sanya Hospital," becoming a National Regional Medical Center project (guidance category). With 1,000 beds and 1,595 employees, the hospital features comprehensive departments including internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, neurology, cardiology, and orthopedics. The International Medical Clinic, located on the 8th floor of the outpatient building, provides medical treatment, healthcare, and rehabilitation services for foreign patients and those with special needs. It cooperates with domestic and international medical insurance companies to offer direct billing services, and provides one-on-one accompanying services, health record management, and material mailing services. As a demonstration hospital for public hospital reform and high-quality development in Hainan Province, the hospital leverages West China Hospital expert resources to build a regional medical center in southern Hainan.
