About the Hospital
The PLA General Hospital Hainan Branch is the only new branch established outside Beijing in the 60-year history of the PLA General Hospital (301 Hospital). Officially opened in June 2012, it is located in Haitang Bay, Sanya City, Hainan Province, covering approximately 900 mu. The hospital inherits the values of "Loyalty and Sincerity, Excellence and Compassion" from the Beijing headquarters and features six national key disciplines: Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Orthopedics, Geriatrics, Respiratory Medicine, Nephrology, and Burn and Plastic Surgery. Known as the "Medical Pearl on the International Tourism Island," the hospital combines medical services with rehabilitation and wellness, leveraging Sanya's unique climate and tourism resources to provide high-quality healthcare services for domestic and international patients. Through the remote consultation system, patients in Hainan can access the expertise of Beijing 301 Hospital specialists without leaving the island.
