The First Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University Lecheng Hospital is located in the Boao Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone and is China's first public-private partnership franchise demonstration hospital. Formerly known as Ciming Boao International Hospital, it signed a "brand authorization" cooperation agreement with The First Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University on October 28, 2022 based on the "Nine Articles" policy, exploring a new model of public-private franchise cooperation. The hospital relies on the medical, teaching, research, and technical brand support of The First Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University to become a tertiary comprehensive hospital gathering renowned medical experts, cutting-edge medical research, and new specialty pharmaceuticals and medical devices. The main hospital was founded in 1973 and is a Grade 3A comprehensive hospital with 2 national key residency training bases (General Practice and Emergency Medicine) and 21 national residency training specialty bases. Lecheng Hospital enjoys the franchise medical policy of the Boao Lecheng Pilot Zone and can use internationally advanced pharmaceuticals and medical devices, providing patients with specialized medical services such as assisted reproduction, fetal medicine, and imported specialty pharmaceuticals and medical devices.
